The Minuteman Project received state approval for an “Adopt A Highway” sign last week. The California Department of Transportation (Cal-Trans) granted Gilchrist, founder and president of the Minuteman Project, unanimous approval for the adoption of an important two-mile stretch of highway. The sign is located at Barranca Parkway exit on northbound Route 133 in Irvine, Ca., about four miles before the Route 241 toll gate. The area is a heavily traveled highway.
